OurHeart’sCry Personal Journal Entry ~ Study 4

“A Time For Rejoicing!”

Bible Memory Verse and Prayer:  Commit to memory Psalm 126:5,6.  Incorporate this verse into your daily prayers.  Pray often throughout your day (“pray without ceasing.” I Thessalonians 5:17).

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weeping, bearing precious seed,

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

                                          Psalm 126:5,6

1) In what way have you noticed your fellowship with God has grown closer through your heart’s

cry?________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2) Do you know the purpose and plan that God has for your heart’s cry?_______

3) If you answered yes, briefly describe the purpose and plan He has revealed to you: __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

4) This is the vision of ministry God has given you through your heart’s cry! What is that vision, and how do are you planning to serve Him and draw others to Him in it? ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

5) As times of adversity and trials come, never forget the vision God has shown you through your heart’s cry. He will fulfill it in His time. May the verse below give you renewed purpose and direction during those times when you feel at a “standstill” in the ministry of your heart’s cry, or that things are not moving at a pace you feel they should. God has it all perfectly planned out. Trust in Him and His Word to be your peace.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.”

                                                             Habakkuk 2:3

Press on, remain faithful, and seek to glorify Him with all your heart, soul, and mind!
