“Flip Flop, What’s Going On?”
Bible Memory Verse and Prayer: Commit to memory Psalm 46:10. Incorporate this verse into your daily prayers. Pray often throughout your day (”pray without ceasing.” I Thessalonians 5:17).
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah”
Psalm 46:10-11
1) Have you experienced what we have termed “flip-flop” since our last study, and if so, in what ways?______________________________________________________
2) Were you aware of the “counter attack” Satan has begun at the truth being revealed in your heart’s cry?_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3) In what ways are you now aware of his schemes? (examples: through his deceptions, doubts, lies…etc.)?_____________________________________________________________
4) Would you say you’ve allowed yourself to “be still” and allow God to work in your heart’s cry, or have you been a “fixer” through your own strength?___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
5) Are you willing to surrender all of your plans and ideas in your heart’s cry and to be still and know that He is God?___________________________________
6) If yes….(journaling your progress has great benefits!)
I have surrendered, and have “been still” before God. I have seen Him work in my life in these ways:_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
As God works in your life, and reveals things to you, praise Him! “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Stand strong and have faith in His Word!
