What Is OurHeart’sCry?
OurHeart’sCry developed through of a season of trials, struggles, and sorrows. Psalm 126:5 says, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” After reading this portion of Scripture, I began to reflect on how many times my heart has “weeped” over issues and circumstances in life. As time passed, many of those circumstances turned into blessings that never would have been known except through tears…my “heart’s cry.” God’s Word says that our tears shall reap in joy! But how?
Psalm 126:6 further states, “He that goeth forth and weeping, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” As our heart’s cry out, we come before God and make our requests, (our heart’s cries), known to Him (Phil. 4:6). God will open the doors of understanding as we seek Him and His Word. He will guide us, and reveal His plan and purpose for all things to us. As we allow Him to lead, what had once been a “hearts cry” becomes a blessing to share with others.
OurHeart’sCry endeavors not only to discover the cries of our hearts, but to seek out wisdom, counsel, and direction from the Word of God to understand our cries, and then faithfully teach those truths revealed to us with others.
The cry of my heart is to know Him more, and to share the love of Jesus Christ. My prayer is that your heart’s cry be turned to rejoicing as we seek His face together.
