What Is OurHeart’sCry?

Filed under: News! — vicki @ 3:09 pm

OurHeart’sCry Ministries developed through of a season of trials, struggles, and sorrows.  Psalm 126:5 says, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” After reading this portion of Scripture, I began to reflect on how many times my heart has “weeped” over issues and circumstances in life.  As time passed, many of those circumstances turned into blessings that never would have been known except through tears…my “heart’s cry.”  God’s Word says that our tears shall reap in joy! But how?  (more…)

Study 1: “Search My Heart Oh God”

                   Introduction

The deepest “heart’s cry” we will ever possess is the cry of our hearts to know God, the love He has for us, and the assurance of an eternal life in heaven through the finished work of His Son. If you are not absolutely certain whether you would be in heaven when you die, we would ask you to please read the “First Things First” entry on the main web page, and prayerfully consider its content before beginning this study.  God Bless~

   Study 2: “The Truth Revealed”

“Search me Oh God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me. And lead me in the way everlasting.”

Psalm 139:23-24

In study 1, we discovered our hearts are desperately crying out to be free. This has hindered us from experiencing the full and abundant life that God desires for His children. We become His children when we accept Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives (John 1:12) Please refer to the “First Things First” entry on the main web page if you are unsure of your salvation or your position(standing) in the family of God

As we have committed Psalm 139:23-24 to memory, praying for God to search our hearts, is your heart beginning to cry out to you? Perhaps you have found that the floodgates have burst wide open; and you are now fully aware of what your heart’s cry is. You may be wondering “what do I do now?”   (more…)
